Yeah, so the original opening page was lost in the murky depths of cyberspace when I went to go to the new layout.  It was clever; something cute about how everyone always welcomes visitors of their pages to 'my little corner of cyberspace!'  I then went on to question why there seemed to be so many corners in this ambiguous Internet we all traipse around in, and then set up my little kiosk right smack in the middle of it all.  This evolved directly out of the 'Window to the Soul' layout, except that it was called 'Bandwagon.'  The biggest issue I took with the layout, other than the fact that it was getting old, was that it had '2001' in the watermark behind the title.  It dated the site, which was fine until around June of 2002, when I started designing the current incarnation of this site, which went life on a nondescript Saturday in September.  (the three-month lag had to do more with laziness than with complexity; it took me a while to get motivated.)
